When using Active Directory or any authentication, the Proxy ask the Skype application to be authenticated.
Skype have troubles to be authenticated trough an NTLM/Basic Proxy.
The Global Macro “Allow Skype” deny the proxy to authenticate connection to Microsoft Skype networks
- This procedure will Allow Skype for everyone. If you want to allow Skype for a limited users you can use the Skype Macro in ACLs
- On Your Proxy section, select “Permanent authorizations“
- Turn to green the Allow Skype in All cases
- Click on Apply
